Consultation Fees?

The current fees have not increased for 2025. They remain as follows:

  • $200.00 per 50 min session

  • $250.00 per 75min session (strictly by pre-booking)

  • $222.99 per 50min NDIS session

*Requests for file review, reports and letters to other consulting practitioners, school etc. will be charged at an hourly rate  of $60p/h once agreed with your therapist.

Do I need a Referral?

No you don't need a referral to see a psychologist, however if you wish to receive a medicare rebate you are required to obtain a valid mental health care plan (MHCP) from your consulting practitioner or GP.

Rebates?

If you have a valid mental health care plan (MHCP) you will be entitled to a medicare rebate for up to a maximum 10 sessions per calendar year. These will be provided in blocks of 6 sessions followed by review with your consulting practitioner, and then a further 4 sessions after review. The medicare rebate for a general psychologist is $96.65 per visit under the current government guidelines.

Private Health Insurance?

If you choose not to obtain a referral for a mental health care plan that's ok. You may still be able to receive a rebate through your private health insurance, if you have selected psychology extras with your plan. These are often similar to the amount provided through medicare. We do not offer Hicaps at this practice, so please discuss directly with your provider.

NDIS?

We see clients through NDIS self-managed plans. Please advise of this upon booking your first appointment. We also offer advice on navigating the application process and provide NDIS reports where required. Please discuss with your therapist.

Assessments?

We currently provide assessments for Behavioural concerns, mood disorders, ADHD diagnosis, Autism screening and Learning / School challenges. We will provide preliminary assessment and advice for neuro-diversity and can facilitate comprehensive assessment where required. Please discuss your  needs and the pathway with your therapist.
